FC Barcelona have officially confirmed that full-back Xavi Espart has signed a new contract extension, committing his future to the Catalan club until June 2030.
The 19-year-old La Masia product joined Barcelona’s youth setup in 2015.
Naturally a midfielder, Espart made his senior debut in March 2026 against Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League and has since established himself as a versatile full-back option under Hansi Flick.
The new agreement adds two years to his previous contract, which had been set to expire in 2028.
