Al-Hilal and Arsenal have officially announced the permanent transfer of 25-year-old winger Gabriel Martinelli.
According to Transfermarkt.com, the transaction involves a fixed transfer fee of €70m, representing a new record sale in Arsenal’s club history. The Brazil international has signed a four-year contract with the Riyadh-based side running through June 2030.
The departure ends Martinelli’s seven-year spell in North London following his move from Ituano in 2019.
During his time with Arsenal, he made over 200 appearances across all competitions, scoring 49 goals and helping the club secure an FA Cup and two FA Community Shields.
