Borussia Mönchengladbach have appointed Alexander Blessin as their new head coach on a contract running until June 2028.
The 53-year-old German manager succeeds Eugen Polanski at Borussia-Park, taking on his first coaching position since parting ways with FC St. Pauli in June.
Blessin inherits a Die Fohlen side seeking immediate stability following a difficult, winless start to the Bundesliga campaign. His tenure officially begins ahead of the upcoming derby clash against 1. FC Köln after the international break.
