Tottenham Hotspur have officially announced that midfielder Lucas Bergvall has signed a new contract extension with the club.
While official club statements did not specify the exact duration of the agreement, reports in England state that the deal extends the 20-year-old Sweden international’s stay in North London until June 2032.
Bergvall initially signed for Tottenham from Djurgården in February 2024 for a transfer fee of €20.00m, according to Transfermarkt.com, before officially joining the squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The midfielder has since amassed 80 appearances across all competitions for Spurs, while also making history at international level by becoming the youngest player to represent Sweden at a FIFA World Cup.
