Olympiacos FC have officially appointed Imanol Alguacil as their new head coach.
The 55-year-old Spaniard takes on the role in Piraeus following his departure from Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab FC in February and succeeds José Luis Mendilibar.
The specific terms of his contract remain undisclosed.
Alguacil returns to European football after managing 330 total matches across a seven-year tenure with Real Sociedad, where he famously won the 2020 Copa del Rey.
He takes charge of Olympiacos ahead of their upcoming domestic fixtures and UEFA Europa League campaign.
