Manchester City have officially announced the permanent transfer of 25-year-old midfielder Enzo Fernández from Chelsea.
According to Transfermarkt.com, the deal involves a transfer fee of €145m, setting a new club-record fee for Manchester City and matching the Premier League benchmark set by Alexander Isak’s move to Liverpool in 2025.
The Argentina international has signed a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium running through June 2031.

The move reunites Fernández with manager Enzo Maresca following his departure from London.
During his three-year tenure at Chelsea, Fernández recorded 31 goals across all competitions while helping the club secure both the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup titles.
Fernández originally joined Chelsea from Benfica in January 2023 for a then-league record fee of €121m.
