Venezia FC have announced the appointment of Davide Nicola as their new head coach, handing the 53-year-old manager a contract running until 30 June 2028.
Nicola replaces Giovanni Stroppa, who was dismissed after the newly promoted side suffered six consecutive defeats at the start of the Serie A campaign.
Widely regarded as a specialist in engineering top-flight survival following past spells at Crotone, Genoa, Torino, Salernitana, and Cagliari, Nicola takes charge at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo to steady the club’s fortunes.
