Getafe CF have announced the signing of former Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal on a free transfer, with the veteran right-back agreeing a contract until June 2027.
The 34-year-old Spain international was available as a free agent following the conclusion of his contract at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Carvajal, who made 451 senior appearances and won 27 major trophies, including six UEFA Champions League titles during his 23-year association with Real Madrid, remains in the Spanish capital to reinforce manager José Bordalás’ squad at the Coliseum.
